Hayle-bug

Things Hayley loves:
num-num(pacifier), blankie(only the pink silky one), to be held "uppy", pop-pops(popsicles), babies, swimming("kick, kick, kick"), Daddy, My-My(Myles)(I'm sure she loves Kyra too, but she can't say anything that resembles Kyra or sissy yet:)), outside, riding on Mommy's back.

Things Hayley doesn't love:
getting new teeth(as you can see, she already has quite a mouthful!), getting her teeth brushed, getting markers taken from her, vegetables:(.

Big hugs for Papa!

Whack it hard!!
We love you Kyra! You are a gift and you bring us sooo much joy!

Playhouse

We had a garage sale with a goal in mind...make enough money to buy a playhouse! Although it took some creativity to figure out how we were going to get this thing home(thanks Papa Bob!), it has provided hours of fun!! While Kyra likes to play "friendly neighbor" and tea party, Myles runs around squirting everyone through the windows of the playhouse and torturing the girls. (He wears this Spiderman swimsuit everyday. I do make him get dressed when we leave the house, but it has cut down on laundry:)).

Beach Bums

A couple weeks ago we took a trip to San Diego. We went to SeaWorld, Scott and I ran the Carlsbad 5000, and of course we visited the beach(several times).:)

Daddy told Kyra and Myles that "some people make sand castles, but I make powerhouses!" K and M are learning how to build the perfect powerhouse.

Hayley loved the sand...we're still finding it!

A Bold Witness

A few weeks ago we were out for a hike/walk at Sabino Canyon and Kyra started up a song at the top of her lungs. It was "Goin' on a bear hunt" but she had her own version...

Goin' on a tiger hunt

I'm not afraid

Got Jesus in my heart

And a Bible by my side...

Over and over she sang the verses as we "went through" grass, mud, mountains, etc.

Neither Scott or I had prompted this new song and we loved how she was belting it out for all to hear. Several other hikers passed by, all with smiles on their faces. It got me thinking...is my witness for Christ that bold? I pray that Kyra's faith will only grow stronger and she will carry that boldness with her!
