4 month old cutie

Sophy is sleeping good, eating good, smiling at us all, cooing, and trying to start rolling. She's become quite the thumb sucker and always sleeps with one arm over her eyes and the other thumb in her mouth:).
She's been such a trooper through 2 vacations so far(2 more to go). She loves her bouncy seat!
I love her big blue eyes!

She is such a blessing!

Signs

Kyra has been making signs for different members of the family:). This was Scott's on Father's Day.
And this one is tied on Sophy's crib.

Colorado Fun!!

A big thanks to Grandma and Papa for taking us to Colorado! We had a great time even though Kyra was the only one to catch any fish, and the outhouse was less than sanitary by the end of the week:). I keep thinking we should start taking family pictures on the first day of vacation rather than the last when we haven't bathed in days:)!
Grandma and Papa with the kids
Papa and Soph
The swing set right behind the cabin was a big hit!
Mommy and Sophy(4 months)
Beautiful flowers everywhere!!
The kids made a fort behind a big pine tree complete with a stump table and 3 flat rock chairs. The perfect place for lunch or a snack!
Brotherly love
Off to the candy store!
This year Hayley had her own fishing pole which she was very proud of! She only had a bobber on the end, but she casted over, and over, and over, and over...
Coming from 100 degree June weather, we were freezing in Colorado. Daddy and Sophy in their "gorros".
Tootsie pops all round!
The bottomless pit!

All the practice I got in 6th grade making dandelion chains sure came in handy!

Hitting baseballs with Daddy

Love the face:)

We have 2 green-eyed girls and a chocolate-eyed boy...Sophy has such big blue eyes we are wondering if maybe they'll stay that way. It will be fun to see!

Gymnastics

Kyra has been taking gymnastics all year and last weekend was her first ever recital! Her class(mostly 6 year olds) did a great job remembering thier routine and we were so proud of Kyra for doing so well up on the big stage. Her cartwheels and handstands have gotten especially good and she can't wait to learn more fancy tricks when regular gym starts back up in August.
This is the costume her class wore.

All beautiful performers get flowers after the big show, right?!

Butterfly Release

As a science project we ordered painted lady caterpillars. We watched them eat and grow, then hang upside down and make their chrysalis', then eat their way out a week later and become butterfiles. The kids had a blast watching and learning about the process. It was so cool!
