Our Sophy is 1 today!!

Sophy started walking this week, just in time to show off on her birthday!!
She is sooo proud of herself!
Can't imagine life without this precious girl! She's so much fun! Sophy loves being held, dancing to music, table food, her soft purple blanket, her brother and sissies, peek-a-boo, dirty socks, and baby dolls.

She loves giving Myles kisses!!(or is that licks...)

The big "1"!

None of these cake pictures are staged! I have never seen a baby eat a cupcake so fast!
Happy Birthday Sophy!!!
We love you soooo much!

Valentine's Day!

Already a genius:)

ER Trip

It's actually been a couple weeks since Myles and I made a trip to the ER. I'm told it will probably be the first of many:). This picture is 3 days post accident- looking much better. He split his head open over the eyebrow and they used skin superglue to close it up. Here are some funny things about our little trip...
When the Dr. asked what happened Myles said, "I bonked my head doing stink bug rolls in the living room." Strange look from the doctor...(Mommy translated- He hit his head on a chair diving into sommersults in the living room)

(very loud) "Mommy, why does that man have a pony tail? Doesn't he know that ponytails are for girls?"

(When the nurse closed the curtain to our little ER room/area) Myles says, "Mommy, are they putting us in jail?" I say, "No Myles, they're just giving us a little privacy." Myles says, "PRIVACY?? We're not going potty!!??" (all this again- very loud)

Cowboy

Myles got lots of cool things for his birthday, but one of them was a cowboy gun(from Papa Bob and Auntie Robin) which you can use to "shoot" cans off a log complete with sound effects! Now everyday is cowboy day! Myles even sleeps with his cowboy gun.
It's a good thing we have this guy 'cause we need someone to keep us safe when Daddy's at work!
Myles even sported the hat while doing his school work(the gun wasn't far away either!)
Aren't those nice d's, by the way:).

The rootinist tootinist cowboy in the wild wild west!

My first baby

I haven't written just about Kyra in a while. There's lots to tell, lots to be thankful for- more to come on all that...But for now I'm grateful for what God is showing me about myself, through her. Kyra, more than the other kids so far, is most like me. This is sometimes good and sometimes bad:). Sometimes fun, and sometimes not very fun. But as I tell her, God has put us in a family together to help each other become more like Jesus. And for that I am very very grateful!

Because She's Cute:)
