Gymnastics 2013

May brought another great gym recital!!  This year was special because it was Hayley's first recital with costume on the big stage!  She has been waiting and waiting for her chance to have a special leotard and show.  She loved it!!!  Her class was so cute.  Kyra and Myles are apart of an advanced class for their age and their performance was amazing!  All the kids had their parts perfectly memorized to the music with such fun tricks!  Myles showed off his one handed cartwheels and round-offs, and Kyra did her backbend kickovers and made it look easy!  Can't wait til next year!

Half-milers

Scott's middle school track team put on an elementary race every Friday after practice for younger siblings or anyone that wanted to show up!  It was an 800M and there were always between 7 and 15 kids who came to run.  Each week they got a ribbon with their time and at the last one, they all got medals!  It was fun for the kids to see their improvement from week to week.  Best times were: Kyra 3:28, Myles 3:31, Hayley 5:00, Sophy 5:20

Look at those little legs run:)
 Myles was all business
Kyra raced everyone and was a good sport after each race
Hayley mostly checked out the scenery and wildlife:)

The theme of this blog is "better late than never", so here goes Sophy's birthday post from FEBRUARY!(I know, I know:))
Sweet Hayley won a Starbucks gift card at our care group SuperBowl party and announced that she was going to save it and take us all out for chocolate milk on Sophy's birthday!  So the big day started with Sophy's gymnastics class, then chocolate milks(coffee for Mommy:)) at Starbucks.

On her actual birthday, we made ice cream sundaes.
For this 3rd birthday, Sophy got to go to Build-a-Bear, where she picked out a pink snowflake bear complete with almost every pink accessory in the store.  She named her bear "Emily", which is also the name of about 5 other of her bears and babies.

Sophy wanted a tutu/ballerina party...so this is what I came up with:).
Our baby...3 years old!!  So glad God added her to our family!!!  Life wouldn't be near the same without her!

Three cousins were here for the party!  Lots of fun and plenty of hits on the piƱata for each!

Sophy on her new scooter form Grandma and Papa!
Happy Birthday sweet girl!
