Fourth of July Parade

We were in Flagstaff for the 4th of July this year and the kids got to be in their first parade! I think the entire city of Flagstaff is either in the parade or watching it! The kids were loaded with goodies too- from candy to kites, new books and toothbrushes, necklaces, pinwheels, flags you name it! Hayley was even brave enough to give "Louie the Lumberjack" a high 5, so she got a NAU pom-pom:)!
Molly, Jesh, and Reese met us at the parade too- so great to spend time with them.

A very patriotic crew!

The kids waiting their turn to ride in the old car.

Daddy and Sophy enjoying the parade.

The 3 older kids got to ride with PapaBob in a 1930's car! After that was the float for my dad's church.

And off they go in their first parade! They waved and smiled and held their flags high!

Myles' first missing tooth!

When I think my Myles, I see this...

This is what he really looks like these days:)

This is his first missing tooth at 5 years and 5 months old!

Myles is a trinket man...he collects anything and everything. I'm pretty sure this will be in his collection for a while:). It's actually sitting on his dresser right now... And speaking about collections, he collected about 40 beer bottlecaps off the ground during the 2 weeks we were in Lake Tahoe(he wanted to make a necklace- Wouldn't that be a nice thing for a 5 yr old boy to wear to church? A necklace of 40 old, rusty, gross beer bottlecaps?). Anyway, they were so gross that when we got home they mysteriously disappeared into the trash...he hasn't noticed yet, but when he does I think I'm going to be in big trouble:).

Here he is... a toothless cutie!

GG's 80th Birthday!

At the beginning of July we met in Flagstaff for my grandma's 80th birthday. 80 years is something special to celebrate, especially with a daughter, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren:). We ate a delicous dinner, yummy cake, enjoyed family and the cool Flagstaff air!

All the cousins...some happier than others!

Cousins enjoying the nice green grass...

The whole family (except my mom taking the picture)...Happy Birthday GG!

Flagstaff in June

A little behind on summer posts:), it's because we've been having too much fun! These are pics from a trip to Flagstaff the beginning on June...

I came in the bedroom one morning to find this...Kyra reading to everyone snuggled up in the bed:)

Having fun in the playhouse.

Some evenings we went down to the golf course and let the kids run around barefoot-everyone loved it!

Kyra is the best big sister!

We got to hang out with cousin Reese a couple days. She and Sophy loved their tea parties.

Reese is great at multi-tasking:)

Myles loves his little cousin:)
