Bedtime

Bedtime sometimes seems like such a long drawn out process with so many requests...but I was reminded tonight that my little ones won't always be little. The day will come when the requests like "Mommy, will you pwease sweep with me, just a couple minutes(Myles)" and "Make sure you blow me kisses from the door(Kyra)" won't be and I will miss them sooo much. Every night Kyra requests me to make up a different story involving certain princesses..."tonight I want to hear the story about how Snow White met Jasmine" and some nights I think there is no way I can make up another story... But I want to cherish the snuggle times..they are precious.

Hayley is ONE!

We can't believe that Hayley is one! Actually, she's been one for 3 weeks, I'm just behind on life:). Hayley is walking, talking(dada, nana(banana), hi) and getting into everything! She loves to snuggle and her smile lights up the room. Kyra says, "I'm so glad I have a sister because now I don't have to sleep by myself anymore!" Myles says, "Haywee is my baby girl!"
Happy Birthday Hayley!

Out of the mouths of Kyra and Myles...

Kyra: "I want to be a fairy when I grow up."
Myles: "I want to be a scary monster-arrrrr. Or maybe a fast race car!"
Myles: (Looking at the full moon)"Mommy, look- the moon isn't broken any more!"
Kyra: "Myles loves my kisses, even on Sundays."(????)
Myles: "I want to wear the brown shirt today cause it matches my chocolate eyes."
Kyra: "Myles is calling me stinky!"
Myles: "Kyra, I'm not calling you stinky, I'm calling you skunk!"

Snow Fun!

All the Flagstaff snow made for some great memories and true "Christmas weather!" Kyra loved eating it, laying in it, sledding in it, and throwing it! Myles liked looking at it and occasionally sledding in the "red sled." Hayley got her first taste of cold weather and was a real trooper. Now we're back to the 75 degree weather of Tucson...ahhhhhh!
