Suddenly, hilarious, and 49

The kids are always asking me what funny things they said when they were little, and I have a bad memory...so I thought I better write down some of these 2yr old-isms before my baby turns 3!!

 Sophy knows how to make herself known in this family of 6!  She's still embracing the baby role, which means my arms might look like Arnold Swarz. soon:).  Most of the time I don't mind.  She names every baby/stuffed animal "Emily."  She loves to tell stories and when she does, they usually include several "suddenlys" and several "it was hillllarious!"  Her favorite number is 49 and she uses it all the time!  "Can we go at the 49?"  "Is it the 49 yet???"  "Can I wake up at the 49?"  "Can I have 49 marshmallows?"

 Sophy wants to wear a tutu EVERYDAY!  In Tucson, this is pretty much ok since it's been so hot!  Here she is spontaneously performing for us with a made up song and her very fancy wisk microphone!

This girl makes us laugh!  What a gift to our fam!

Tricks and Treats

Went on our annual hay ride and trick or treat at the Cernyars house.  This year we had Belle(Kyra wanted to be a ninja but we couldn't find the "perfect" ninja suit, so she settled for Belle), Captain America, Cowgirl, and LadyBug!  Had lots of fun with friends!

A Week with Baby Caedmon

We got to have our little cousin Caedmon for a week while his mommy and daddy went on an anniversary trip!  He turned 5 months old while he was with us.  We had sooo much fun loving on this little guy!  He went with us to soccer, gymnastics, trick-or-treating, visiting GG, the grocery store, the zoo, and the park.  We loved getting to know his little personality, tickling him, making him laugh, giving him bottles, and surrounding him with toys!  Kyra and Hayley loved feeding him, Sophy loved kissing his belly and making him laugh, and Myles snuggled him and played lots of peek-a-boo.  Here are some quotes from the week:

Myles-"I love that Caedmon doesn't have little baby eyes...he has big happy eyes!"

Myles' prayer at breakfast- "Thank you Jesus that we get to keep Caedmon for a week and thank you for his cuteness."

Sophy- "Caedmon is soooo adorable!" (in her 2 yr old voice)

"We have to give him back?!?!?!?"
