"Whobody"

In the spirit of words like somebody and anybody, Myles has invented the word "whobody" and regularly cracks us up with the stuff he says. In the morning it's "Whobody's gonna get me some breakfast?" Heard from the bathroom(yelling) "Whobody's gonna wipe me?" Anytime, "Whobody's gonna play cars with me?" And in Colorado when Papa put the car window down to let in some crisp mountain air, Myles pipes up "Whobody made the car cold?" :)

First Track Meet

Tuesday night Kyra and Myles went to their first track meet! Parks and Rec puts on an All-Comers meet every Tuesday all summer for all ages. They did the 50M dash, the long jump, 4 x 100M relay and softball throw. Here's Myles showing off his ribbon!

Kyra's ribbons!! She got 3rd place in the softball throw.

Kyra waiting to start off the 4 x 100 relay.

It was a beautiful night, fun to be outside, and we stopped at McDonald's for ice cream cones on the way home!

Little Fish

Hayley finished her ISR swimming lessons at the end of April. She is our newest little fish! She will do short swims to us under water and flip over and float when she needs a breath. She's also fallen several times at the pool while reaching for toys and she always pops right up on her back. We are very proud of her!

Hayley floating in her clothes(simulating if she were to fall in the water dressed).

Yeah Hayley!!

Kyra went to the ball!

Well, actually it was just the 8th grade dance at Scott's school! It might as well been a ball though...Kyra dressed up in her Cinderella dress, hair curled, purse full of lip gloss, gum and jolly ranchers. She took a very handsome prince with her(Daddy), and got to snack on nachos and lemonade. All of Daddy's students came over to say HI, and Kyra witnessed Daddy's dance moves(splits, worm and whatever else he does:)). She said all the "cougars" cheered very loud!(the school mascot is the cougar) On the way home they even stopped at Starbucks for chocolate milk! What a night!
