Last week Kyra and Myles were in a Tucson wide homeschool spelling bee! For kids 1st-4th grade it is called the honeybee. This is the 3rd year that Kyra has participated, but Myles' first year! We studied and studied, and had to look up a lot of words that I didn't even know the meanings of.
Myles did a great job and made it 3 rounds! It was a little unfortunate because his last word was "glitter", but he thought the word was "litter" and spelled that instead.
Kyra made it too many rounds to count!! She came in 3rd place out of everyone and did an excellent job!
Here they are with their certificates and $10 EACH to Bookmans!
