They say boys take longer...

I'm not sure who "they" actually are, but Myles is doing his best to prove them right. This is our second attempt at potty training, and now that Myles is 3 we were sure he could handle it.

The first day went something like this:

Mommy: "Myles, lets go sit on the potty."

Myles: "Nooooooooooo!!"(screaming and running in the opposite direction of the bathroom)

After a while he warmed up to sitting on the potty(since I was bribing him with candy), but he'd sit for about 5 minutes, we'd read a story and NOTHING would happen. Then we'd get him dressed again and no joke, 4 minutes later he's creating a lake on our living room floor! Multiply that times 6 or 7 in the day...I might just give up and send him to high school in diapers:).

Let's just say that if I make it through this potty training thing only using 1 can of Resolve on the carpet, we'll consider it a success!

Ahhh! Same story here. E REFUSES to use the potty. On and off on and off and then within 2 minutes he is wettinghis pants! Trying to cut the kid some slack since he is a boy...and "they" say it takes longer :)...and since I suppose having a relatively new baby in the house doesn't help. Lily was so easy (at least in the potty department). Hoping that E will figure it our before kindergarten! Here's to hoping our baby girls are quick potty trainers! :)
