The baby

Our baby is officially 1 1/2 and quickly turning into a sweet, funny, expressive little girl! She talks a lot, some of which we can understand:), still signs milk, please, more, all done and loves to play with her siblings. Each morning when I get her out of the crib I say, "Do you want to go see your friends?" Sophy nods her head and says, "Yeah!" and then takes off running down the hall to find everyone.

She still loves to snuggle Mama, which is fine with me!

Sophy is sometimes quite a ham, putting toys or books on her head and then letting them fall off and saying "uh-oh" in her silly voice. Dancing around in circles, or holding her nose and saying "poop!"
When the other kids are getting a treat Sophy yells, "too! too!"(as in me too, me too!)

When Sophy is looking for something, she wanders around the house saying, "Woo-hoo num-num, woo-hoo blankie, woo-hoo dada." And speaking of num-num(pacifier) and blankie, they are still her favorites! The num-num is suppossed to stay in the crib, but somehow she sneaks it out during the day!

Sophy LOVES books, especially ones with babies or animals. If you sit down and read with her, she will bring you book, after book, after book, after book...

She loves peek-a-boo, and also does this just to be silly:).

Sophy loves swimming and is quite a little fish, floating on her back when she needs a breath. When she feels it's time to go swimming she will go into the bathroom to the pile of swimsuits and start delivering each persons to them. This is actually pretty amazing because Kyra, Hayley, and I have tankinis and she always picks out the correct matching tops and bottoms for each person, as well as a swim diaper for herself. A genius, what can I say:).

We call her Sophinator, Soph-a-Doph, Sophy Dophy, and Bubbalooska. Don't ask where those names came from 'cause I have no idea:).

Love that toothy smile!!

Sophy loves her baby and loves to be a big girl right up beside her sister!

We love you Sophy! Please stop growing so fast!

Snitchin' coupons

I've clipped alot of coupons in the last several months and 3 yr old Hayley always wants in on the action. Only she calls it "snitchin' coupons." As soon as I sit down with my scissors, she's right beside me with hers saying things like, "Mommy, can I help you snitch coupons? Really I'm a great snitcher! I'm going to be a great mommy some day 'cause I love snitchin' coupons!"
I try to keep a straight face and give her some "very important" coupons to snitch. Actually I give her store ads or pages of expired coupons because, well, let's just say that the coupons she snitches are not always useable:). She concentrates very hard and I love how much she desires to help me.

Actually, all this snitchin' has improved her cutting a lot. Maybe she'll get some real coupons to snitch in the near future!:)

It's amazing to me...

It's amazing to me that I can hear "I'm huunnngry" literally every 20 minutes ALL day long, and yet as soon as my children sit down to dinner and take one look at their plates I hear, "I'm not really that hungry" "Yeah, I'm kinda full" " My tummy hurts" :)

Wise words from Hayley

"Why do I always bonk my head on the "bonkbed"??!!(aka bunkbed)

(to Mommy)"Let's play like you're the Mommy and I'm the kid!"

(to Daddy)"Myles was a good boy when he got his hair cut, so he got fruit snacks. Maybe if you're a good man you could get some too!"

Lake Tahoe!

Once again, we had a great 2 weeks of camping in Lake Tahoe!! We made lots of great memories, hung out with family, and enjoyed God's beautiful(and cool) creation! Here's a little bit of what we did...

sang around the campfire with Papa,
ate smores,

ate more smores,

went out for ice cream,

trading licks of course,

we went fishing,

Myles caught this big one(he was dying to catch it, but then refused to get within ten feet of it)(I wear a size 10 shoe by the way:)),

Hayley caught this bigin on her Barbie pole(when asked about her favorite part of fishing, she will quickly anwser, "the licorice"),

sometimes we woke up with crazy hair,

we prepared for the beach,

sometimes trying on other peoples swim suits,

we went horseback riding(Kyra's horse was named River),

we played at the beach,

played ball(here's my two favorite men),

made castles and ate sand,

we jumped off the pier,

we went canoeing with Papa,

we hiked to Emerald Bay,

cooled off at Eagle Falls,

picniced at Emerald Bay,

laughed alot,

and here's us with Grandma and Papa at the end of the trip!

We can't wait til next year!!
